This is the worst thing that has ever happened.

They took away the kung fu channel. Forever. Like really, it's gone. And I didn't even know it was coming. Link. And more.

Luckily, I managed to record a few last movies on my DVR before they shut it down, perhaps most heartbreakingly including Brave Archer 2 and 3, but not the first one. I also got Way of the Dragon, Life Gamble, Martial Arts of Shaolin, Shaolin Abbot, and Pursuit of Vengeance -- all among my favorites. But needless to say, my prospects of winning the battle to stay sane until April have just become decidedly bleaker.

I am quite close to tears. I feel like my cat just died.

Somehow, on my neverending quest for a job (I do have an interview on Thursday, yay!)I came across this:

If you don't feel like reading the whole thing, basically Australia's tourism board is billing this as THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD. Whoever gets it is paid $100,000 for a 6-month stay on the oceanfront, and the job involves doing all this touristy stuff (swimming, scuba diving, etc.) around the Great Barrier Reef--and blog about it. I think I'll apply just for fun.

What words did George Bush use most during this eight-year presidency?

This word cloud focuses on the words he used in his eight State of the Union addresses, in which the president looks back at events from the previous 12 months and sets out his agenda for the coming year.

Transcripts of the eight speeches have been combined and the size of a word in the cloud is in proportion to its frequency in the speeches.

Common words, such as "in", "on", "of", "many" and "also" have been removed.

President Bush's additional speech before Congress in September 2001 following the 9/11 attacks has not been included.
